The Studio is a story of two women and the space they share together. Carly studied studio art as an undergrad and is now pursuing a masters-in-film. Claire studied communications as an undergrad but has a passion for painting. They decided to share a space to make art so they could bounce creative ideas off of one another and have a place where they could escape and just focus on their craft. Carly has learned a great deal about herself working through her ideas and the studio has helped her to do so. She enjoys being in a building filled with other artists that she can be inspired by. For Claire, the studio is a space of reflection, gratitude, and devotion. She enjoys the space as an environment where she can exist alongside her work while being completely engulfed in it. The studio is a catalyst for their creation—a judgment-free zone where both women create to simply create—a home away from home.
